February 15, 2020 from 1 to 3 p.m. This workshop is for upper level beginner to intermediate photographers. Participants will gain an understanding of what makes a great photo and pick up some tips, tricks and techniques that professional photographers use. The instructor, Will Fields, will provide clear instruction, guidance and feedback throughout four field exercises, as participants begin to develop their own style. Participants must bring their own camera. Pre-registration is required by February 13.

About the instructor: Will Fields is a commercial photographer and teacher who was based in Chicago for most of his 30 year career. His use of wit, humor and incorporation of the platonic question make him a natural, effective, and popular teacher. Will now lives in Omaha, Nebraska, but works and teaches around the country. A partial list of Will's commercial clients include: Sears, Cadillac, Haworth, GE, Motorola, Allstate, Anheuser-Busch, Coldwell Banker, and many others.
After registration: Participants should dress accordingly for all outdoor programs. No rain or snow dates are planned. It is recommended that registrants arrive 15 minutes before the start of the program, doors or gates may be locked 15 minutes after the start of the class. Upon arrival at the garden, participants should check-in at the admissions desk. Program registration includes admission to the garden for the entire day of the program. Children, or guests not properly registered or not participating in the program will need to pay garden admission (for programs held during normal operating hours). All supplies are included for each program, unless otherwise noted.
Refunds and cancellations: If a registration for a program must be canceled, registration fees will be refunded if notice is received at least one week before the program date. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations within one week of the start of the program or for participants that are late or do not show for a program. Please note that programs with insufficient registrations may be cancelled. If Lauritzen Gardens cancels a program, phone or email notification will be made as early as possible and full refunds will be gives.
