We are pleased to announce that educational programs will resume July 1. We have a great upcoming schedule of nature experiences, as well as opportunities to explore your creative side, learn about pollinators, connect with your mind and body, or dive into the plants that are behind our favorite foods and beverages. Many programs require pre-registration one week ahead of the class date.
Several modifications, including reduced class sizes, have been implemented for the health and safety of all teachers and participants. Additionally, please note that programs and subject to change as we receive more guidance regarding COVID-19. We will issue full refunds, or gladly move you to a future class, for any programs that we must cancel. We appreciate your understanding (and your registration) during this time.

Within our classes we will practice social distancing, and we are asking that all participants wear a mask while indoors.

We will also be using a touchless thermometer to take temperatures of our staff, as well as all education class participants at check-in. Anyone showing an elevated temperature will not be admitted to class.

We ask that you’re following the three guidelines of self-quarantine:

1. Have you experienced cold or flu-like symptoms within the last 14 days?

2. Have you been in contact with anyone who has had these symptoms in the last 14 days?

3. Have you travelled outside of the United States in the last 14 days?

If you should answer yes to any of these questions leading up to class, we ask that you contact us immediately and cancel or move your class registration to a later class.

Check in for all education classes will be held at the conservatory vestibule. Please enter the glass doors to the north of the main entry doors. Do not use the main entrance to the garden. If you have any further questions about programs, or how we are working with our teachers and staff to execute programs, please contact our education department at (402) 346-4002, ext. 212 or c.jacobsen@omahabotanicalgardens.org.
