Description Extended Information
March 21, 2020 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
If you enjoy the plant collection in the Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory, you'll enjoy learning the basics of succulent care with Ticia Loza, conservatory gardener and lover of houseplants. In this session, you'll create your own Kokedama. Kokedama is a ball of soil, covered with moss, on which an ornamental plant grows. The idea has its origins in Japan, where it is a combination of the nearai bonsai and kusamono planting styles. Today, Kokedama is very popular in Japanese gardens. $59, $49 for garden members. All supplies are provided. Pre-registration required by March 14.
