Description Extended Information
June 30, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. Come learn about the fascinating world of natural fabric dyes and quilted fabric techniques. Classes from June-November may be taken individually or as a series. In this session, learn about a magical yellow dye that probably already grows in your garden at home, the marigold, or other plants from the genus Tagetes. Participants will learn the basics of using yellow dyes, build a dye bath together, and soak fabrics to produce a range of golds, yellows, and oranges. All supplies are provided.
